Up to $6,000 per Apprentice

 

WIA's Telecom Pay-for-Performance Initiative supports Registered Apprenticeship across telecommunications, broadband, and digital infrastructure by rewarding verified apprentice retention, technical instruction, and program completion.

The Pay-for-Performance Initiative helps potential sponsors with funding to expand Registered Apprenticeship. As apprentices hit verified milestones for 90 day retention, required training and program completion, receive incentive payments of up to $6,000 per apprentice. Funding will be available to eligible Registered Apprenticeship sponsors and organizations interested in becoming sponsors with qualifying telecom and broadband occupations.

 The total cost of the Telecom Pay for Performance Incentive Payments Program is $29,999,142. $29,999,142 (100%) is funded through a U.S. Department of Labor – Employment and Training Administration grant.
